The oceans begin in the sewer network. What is discharged from treatment plants and stormwater systems eventually reaches lakes, archipelagos and seas, which is why discharges must be measured correctly.
Every Global Goal has concrete targets. These are the ones our work affects, quoted from the UN 2030 Agenda (see globalgoals.org).
”By 2025, prevent and significantly reduce marine pollution of all kinds, in particular from land-based activities, including marine debris and nutrient pollution.” target 14.1, UN 2030 Agenda
Our contribution: Marine pollution largely originates from land-based sources. Our contribution is precisely there: accredited calibration of discharge metering and level monitoring that give Swedish water utilities the right data to act on, before the water reaches the sea.
